Project Manager

Project Manager – Collateral and Liquidity Management (CaLM)

LCH’s Collateral and Liquidity Management (CaLM) provides an efficient, cash collateral investment and liquidity management service across all LCH clearing service lines.


About the Role

Manage the delivery of strategic initiatives across the Collateral and Liquidity Management (CaLM) business, ensuring effective governance, planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and execution across LCH Ltd and LCH SA. The role will drive a consistent and holistic approach to project management throughout the project lifecycle.

You will oversee strategic initiatives across the CaLM portfolio, including the delivery of digital asset capabilities and associated business use cases for both LCH entities.

CaLM is a Global Business Line responsible for collateral and liquidity management services across LCH clearing services. Key responsibilities include supporting the business's strategic, regulatory, resilience, and growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives across the CaLM portfolio
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate business and technology workstreams to ensure successful execution
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
  • Track progress against agreed objectives and delivery achievements

Governance and Change Control

  • Ensure projects adhere to the LSEG Change Framework and governance requirements
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, decision logs, and action tracking
  • Support business case development, funding approvals, and change control processes
  • Produce high-quality reporting and governance materials for senior stakeholders

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships across:
    • Product
    • Technology
    • Operations
    • Risk
    • Legal
    • Compliance
    • Treasury & Finance
    • Sales
  • Manage engagement with external partners, vendors, regulators, and market participants as required
  • Facilitate project working groups and customer forums
  • Oversee customer communication and decision-making across delivery teams

Planning, Risk, and Dependency Management

  • Maintain project plans, delivery roadmaps, and business outcomes
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Ensure coordination across multiple workstreams and teams
  • Support delivery assurance and remediation activities where required

Testing, Readiness & Implementation

  • Coordinate testing, implementation, and operational readiness activities
  • Support business transition into business-as-usual processes
  • Ensure successful delivery outcomes and benefits realisation
  • Monitor post-implementation actions and ongoing commitments

Reporting & Communications

  • Provide regular status reports on delivery, risks, financials, and dependencies
  • Prepare governance forum updates and senior management communications
  • Coordinate customer communications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure reporting aligns with project objectives and accuracy

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

Essential

  • Proven project management experience delivering complex business and technology change initiatives in financial services
  • Strong proficiency in planning, governance, delivery, and stakeholder management
  • Experience managing cross-functional programmes (business, operations, technology, control functions)
  • Excellent risk, issue, dependency, and change management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Analytical and problem-solving mentality

Desirable

  • Experience working with senior management and governance forums
  • Knowledge of collateral management, liquidity management, clearing, or post-trade services
  • Familiarity with digital assets, digital market infrastructure, and emerging fintech trends
