Job Description: Informatica MDM Administrator (7–10+ Years)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM Administrator with 7–10+ years of experience to manage, support, and optimize enterprise Master Data Management solutions. The role involves administering Informatica MDM (on-prem and future SaaS/IDMC migration), ensuring platform stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data governance and integration initiatives.
Primary Skills (Core Expertise)
- Strong experience in Informatica MDM (on-premise administration)
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Linux scripting
- IBM WebSphere Application Server
- Application Load Balancers (ALBs)
- Certificate Management (SSL/TLS)
- AWS Elastic Search
- Experience in environment setup, configuration, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
- Strong knowledge of MDM architecture, data models (Party, Product, Reference Data)
Related Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of AWS Infrastructure:
- AWS EFS
- Oracle Exadata (Exacc)
- AWS EKS
- AWS EC2
- AWS ALB
- Experience in Vulnerability Management:
- Unix/Linux servers
- Windows environments
- Basic to intermediate understanding of ETL processes and ability to collaborate with data engineering teams
- Ability to work closely with business teams for data governance and issue resolution
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases:
- Snowflake
- DB2 (basic understanding)

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Informatica MDM platform (on-prem and cloud transition)
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
- Manage application servers (WebSphere), certificates, and load balancers
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLA adherence
- Implement and maintain security and vulnerability management practices
- Collaborate with ETL, Data Engineering, and Business teams for data workflows
- Support data governance, data quality, and master data lifecycle management
- Prepare and support migration to Informatica IDMC (SaaS platform)

Required Experience
- 7–10+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica MDM Administration
- Strong experience in production support and platform operations
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Informatica certifications (MDM / IDMC preferred)
- Exposure to cloud-native architecture and modernization initiatives
Soft Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to handle production incidents and critical issues
- Strong documentation and process adherence mindset
