Project Manager
Location: Warrington (North West) Travel Required: Across operational sites within the North West region
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join Galliford Try’s Asset Intelligence Business.
You will support the delivery of electronic security systems and physical security infrastructure for clients in the water utility sector, ensuring projects are initiated, managed, delivered safely and successfully.
Ideally, you will be based in or around the North West with an ability to travel across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in creating a "knowingly safe" working environment.
- Engage in monthly financial reviews for all schemes with the Commercial Team, ensuring accurate financial performance tracking.
- Enforce the company’s health, safety, and sustainability standards across projects.
- Hold financial performance accountability for each project, overseeing Profit/Loss (P&L) and cash flow optimisation.
- Coordinate and manage pre-construction set-up, including initialising company systems and procedures.
- Monitor, control, and drive efficient project delivery.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure design deliverables are provided on time for seamless site execution.
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with clients, client representatives, the supply chain, and internal teams.
- Manage valuation systems and maximise cash flow and profitability.
- Plan, coordinate, and develop staffing levels to meet current and prospective workloads.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of BS 5839-1 (2025) and HTM 05-06 ( Hazards and Legislative Obligations in Healthcare Premises)
- Level 3 Incident and Emergency Management (FIA) qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant ONC, City & Guilds, or NVQ qualifications
- Experience working with Life Safety Systems and in live hospital environments
- Valid CSCS card and enhanced DBS check
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel and work across multiple North West sites
