Project Manager - M&E / HVAC / Cooling Systems 📍 Wiltshire Office | Remote working | Nationwide Projects ⚠️ Successful applicants must be eligible to obtain and pass UK Security Clearance (SC).

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in air conditioning, HVAC, cooling systems, or mechanical and electrical building services?

We're working with a growing specialist contractor that delivers Mechanical & Electrical projects within data centres, telecoms, and other critical environments. Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead technically complex projects for blue-chip clients across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with over 25 years of industry experience, offering genuine long-term career prospects while delivering high-profile projects in critical environments.

The Role

You'll take ownership of projects from initial order through to final handover, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Mechanical & Electrical installation projects
  • Project planning, scheduling, and programme management
  • Commercial management, valuations, and variation control
  • Client and stakeholder management
  • Managing subcontractors and site teams
  • Procurement and resource planning
  • Health & Safety compliance
  • Quality assurance and project reporting
  • Final handover, snagging, and O&M documentation

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have experience delivering projects involving one or more of the following:

  • Air Conditioning
  • HVAC Systems
  • Chilled Water Systems
  • Mechanical Building Services
  • Data Centre Cooling Infrastructure

You'll also have:

  • A proven track record delivering Mechanical or Electrical projects
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management experience
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • SMSTS (or equivalent)
  • First Aid qualification
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience within data centres or telecoms is highly desirable; however, candidates from commercial HVAC, building services, critical environments, or similar sectors are encouraged to apply.
