Project Manager
Location: Hertfordshire
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £70,000
About the Role
An excellent opportunity to join a leading UK engineering and construction contractor, delivering projects across the power and energy transition markets. You will take full ownership for safe, on-time and on-budget delivery across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of safe, on-time, on-budget delivery across the project lifecycle
- Deliver installation of new utility connections from planning through to energisation
- Plan, review and drive project programmes through to completion
- Build and manage client relationships, keeping stakeholders informed
- Ensure risk assessments are in place, current, and regularly reviewed
- Coordinate site teams, resources and materials to keep delivery on track
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate where required
- Support commercial performance, including cost control, margins and reporting
- Manage subcontractor performance across your project

Requirements

- Experience supporting or delivering HV multi-utility projects up to 132kV
- Experience installing new connections on live utility networks
- Exposure to multi-discipline projects delivered within programme and cost controls
- Strong stakeholder management skills, confident working with clients and subcontractors
- Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification
- Legal right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
