About the Role
Our full-time Project Manager will be based near Network Rail’s Eastern Region and will:
- Oversee and coordinate technology deployments, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with company goals
- Take a hands-on approach to training end users—ensuring they’re empowered to use our solutions effectively
- Develop and execute project plans, including schedules, risk management and stakeholder updates
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving culture—finding creative solutions to unforeseen challenges

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute project timelines, scope, dependencies, and deliverables
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions to client users, tailoring content to varying technical skills
- Manage risks, issues, and quality across deployments
- Author and distribute detailed reports for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Available to work weekends, bank holidays, and overnight shifts as needed for site deployments
- Drive and hold a full UK driving licence
Ideal Candidate Profile
Essential:
✔ Strong project management expertise (planning, risk, scope, stakeholders, quality) ✔ Proven experience training/collaborating with end-users, ensuring adoption of new technologies or processes ✔ Proactively solves problems—driven by continuous improvement and innovative thinking ✔ Experience with project management tools (such as Microsoft Project or equivalent) ✔ Flexible availability, including ability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays ✔ Excellent organisation, leadership, and communication skills ✔ Valid driving licence and routine access to a car

Desirable:
🔹 Hands-on experience with ground-level technology deployments, including diverse user demographics 🔹 Commercial awareness—able to articulate value propositions to clients pre-, mid-, and post-delivery 🔹 Exceptional report-writing skills, translating insights into clear, actionable narratives 🔹 Degree or certification in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline 🔹 Previous experience in the rail sector is a fantastic asset
