Company Description

TripBooka.com is building the platform that helps independent travel advisors compete with the biggest names in travel.

For too long, independent advisors have relied on word of mouth, social media and fragmented tools to grow their businesses, while large online travel companies have dominated through technology and marketing spend. We believe travellers deserve more choice, better service and holidays designed by real experts who genuinely care about their clients.

TripBooka combines marketplace technology, workflow automation and AI to help independent travel advisors attract new customers, manage bookings, build lasting customer relationships and grow their businesses, all from one platform.

We're still at the beginning of our journey, making this an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious startup and help shape the future of independent travel.

Role Description

We're looking for our first permanent Project Manager to join TripBooka.

This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage startup and help build the way we deliver projects as we scale. You'll work directly with the founders and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success and our team of contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with our strategic goals.

You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and driving the successful delivery of product and platform initiatives. From defining project requirements and creating delivery plans to managing timelines, resolving blockers and keeping stakeholders aligned, you'll play a key role in helping TripBooka execute quickly and effectively.

Success in this role isn't about creating unnecessary process. It's about bringing clarity, maintaining momentum and helping great teams deliver exceptional work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a full-time remote role for candidates based in the UK. While you'll primarily work remotely, we'd love someone who enjoys getting together with the team in Newcastle upon Tyne from time to time for planning sessions, collaboration and team meetups.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and oversee projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate work across Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success and external contractors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and remove blockers before they impact delivery.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope and aligned with business priorities.
  • Facilitate planning sessions, sprint ceremonies and project meetings where appropriate.
  • Communicate project updates clearly to stakeholders and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, team collaboration and operational efficiency.
  • Help build scalable project management practices that support the continued growth of TripBooka.

Qualifications

We're more interested in your organisation, communication and ability to deliver successful projects than whether you hold a particular certification or have worked in a specific industry.

You'll likely have:

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritisation and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • The ability to identify risks, solve problems and keep projects moving forward.
  • Experience coordinating projects or cross-functional initiatives.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of accountability.

You may also have experience with:

  • Agile, Scrum, Kanban, PRINCE2 or similar delivery approaches.
  • Project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp or similar platforms.
  • Software development or technology projects.
  • SaaS, marketplaces, startups or the travel industry.

A degree in Business, Project Management, Operations or a related discipline is beneficial but not essential. Professional project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or Scrum certifications are also beneficial, but not absolutely necessary.

If this role excites you, we'd encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification. We'd much rather speak to someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to deliver results than miss out on an excellent Project Manager because they don't tick every box.

Why Apply?

  • Be TripBooka's first permanent Project Manager and help shape how we deliver projects as the business grows.
  • Work directly with the founders and influence how the company plans, prioritises and delivers its most important initiatives.
  • Take ownership of meaningful projects that have a direct impact on customers and business growth.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success and an experienced team of contractors.
  • Help build the operational foundations of a fast-growing technology startup.
  • Competitive salary and significant opportunities for career progression as TripBooka grows.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make a genuine impact in a fast-growing technology startup, where your organisation, leadership and ability to deliver make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
