Project Manager – Cyber Business Unit

About the Role
Our Cyber Business Unit pioneers cutting-edge cryptographic and key-management solutions for secure information exchange—delivering military-grade security for tactical and strategic operations.
As Project Manager, you’ll oversee projects worth up to £10 million, dem noticias and bids to deadline, on budget, and to specification. You’ll act as the linchpin between engineering specialists, external stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring seamless delivery of mission-critical programs.
Critical Note: All candidates must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex projects (up to £10m budget)
- Adhere to financial and programme constraints, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
- Develop and enforce project schedules, cost controls, and WBS alignment
- Secure stakeholder acceptance of project deliverables
- Accurately forecast costs, cash flow, and resource requirements

Requirements & Essentials
Technical & Managerial Expertise:
✔ Proven project management experience—leadership in setting up, executing, and delivering successful projects ✔ Multi-disciplinary project oversight—won’t work in silos; expect to manage teams across engineering specialisms ✔ Customer-facing experience with a track record of stakeholder engagement ✔ Proficiency in MS Office & MS Project ✔ Preferred: Supporting qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
Attitude & Compliance:
✔ Exceptional communication—both written and verbal, internally and externally ✔ Eligibility for a SC (Security Clearance) or DV (Developed Vetting) clearance—not yet held is acceptable if capable of achieving it ✔ Residency requirement: Must be a UK citizen with:
- ≥ 5 years continuous UK residency for Security Clearance (SC)
- ≥ 10 years continuous UK residency for Developed Vett in full Access or higher
