Project Manager - HMP Welland Oaks
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team on the HMP Welland Oaks project, leading the delivery of critical infrastructure and external works packages.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role on a major Ministry of Justice programme, managing complex works within a secure environment. Working closely with project stakeholders, supply chain partners and site teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and successful delivery of infrastructure and external works that are critical to the overall success of the project.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of infrastructure and external works packages from planning through to completion
- Managing programme, cost, quality, safety and risk across assigned works
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners to achieve project objectives
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, programme requirements and quality standards
- Managing stakeholder relationships, including client representatives and operational teams
- Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks and opportunities
- Monitoring project performance and reporting progress to senior leadership
- Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Experience delivering infrastructure, civil engineering and/or external works packages on medium to large construction projects
- Strong understanding of project planning, programme management and construction delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Ability to work effectively within complex, secure or live operational environments
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to project delivery

Security Requirements
Due to the nature of this project, the successful applicant will be required to undergo and successfully pass a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) security check before commencing work on site.
