About the Role
Sapien are seeking a driven and highly organised Project Manager to lead product development projects from concept through to production. Our client is a specialist manufacturer within the automotive sector based in Hook. In this role you will take ownership of delivering projects aligned to the company product roadmap, as well as bespoke customer programmes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and genuinely thrives on delivering successful projects. We're looking for an energetic, personable and charismatic Project Manager who can motivate a team, build strong relationships and drive projects forward with enthusiasm.
If you have a genuine passion for project management but are a little lighter on experience, we'd still love to hear from you. We're keen to speak with individuals who have the right attitude, ambition and potential, and we'd be interested to learn what you could bring to the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
