Connectivity Project Manager

Location: London (Zones 1-2 coverage)

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000


We are working with a leading smart building technology and digital infrastructure specialist delivering complex connectivity solutions across some of the UK's most prestigious commercial and mission-critical environments.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Connectivity Project Manager to join their Design & Build team in London.


This role will take responsibility for the full lifecycle delivery of connectivity and network infrastructure projects, from initial bid and pre-construction stages through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and final handover.

The successful candidate will manage projects across a portfolio of established client sites, taking ownership of programme, commercial performance, and quality while coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing connectivity projects from initial bid and pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
  • Taking responsibility for the delivery of structured cabling, fibre, and network infrastructure packages
  • Coordinating project design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities
  • Managing on-site delivery teams, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes, tracking progress against key milestones
  • Taking ownership of project budgets and P&L, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed commercial targets
  • Managing project risks, variations, and change control
  • Ensuring materials, equipment, and resources are available in line with the construction programme
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, trade contractors, and design partners
  • Ensuring installations are delivered to the required technical, quality, and safety standards
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, and progress updates
  • Overseeing testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience managing connectivity, structured cabling, or ICT infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of copper and fibre optic cabling infrastructure
  • Experience delivering projects within commercial, data centre, enterprise, or other complex technology environments
  • Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, from pre-construction through to handover
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and P&L
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site-based delivery teams
  • Good understanding of project programmes, procurement, and change management
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced project environment

What you'll bring

You'll be a technically knowledgeable and commercially aware Project Manager who understands the demands of delivering high-quality connectivity infrastructure within complex construction and technology environments.

You'll be comfortable taking ownership of projects, leading delivery teams, and acting as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
