Project Manager

Location: Gateshead, Tyne & Wear

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time


Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy for a Project Manager to join their growing team based in Gateshead.


This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager with around 2-5 years' experience to join a respected consultancy delivering projects across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, manufacturing, retail, and logistics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple construction projects from feasibility through to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal design teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets, and risks.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits across the North East and occasionally as far south as North London.
  • Produce project reports and ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Construction Project Management role.
  • Experience working within a construction consultancy, multidisciplinary consultancy, or client-side environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach to project delivery.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • The ability to travel when required.

Desirable

  • Experience using Microsoft Project.
  • APM qualification or working towards one.
  • Degree qualified within Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
