Project Manager
Our Client
A growing UK multi-site organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of new site developments, refurbishments and capital investment projects across its national estate.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing projects from initial feasibility through to construction, handover and operational launch, working closely with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
The Role
- Lead the delivery of construction, fit-out and refurbishment projects across multiple locations.
- Conduct site feasibility assessments and provide project recommendations.
- Manage design development with architects, consultants and stakeholders.
- Coordinate tendering and procurement activities.
- Appoint and manage contractors, suppliers and project teams.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines and overall commercial performance.
- Carry out regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance and health & safety standards are maintained.
- Manage project risks and resolve delivery issues proactively.
- Oversee statutory approvals, Building Control requirements and compliance documentation.
- Lead project handovers, snagging processes and post-project reviews.
- Support estate improvement and refurbishment programmes.

The Successful Candidate
- Proven experience managing multiple construction, fit-out, refurbishment or property development projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction project delivery and contractor management.
- Experience managing budgets, programmes and project reporting.
- Understanding of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Able to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Desirable
- Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
- Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or similar).
- Experience within retail, hospitality, childcare, leisure, franchising or other multi-site environments.
What's on Offer?
- £55,000 - £60,000 salary dependent on experience.
- Hybrid working model (4 days field-based, 1 day home-based).
