Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role requires a hands-on project professional who can combine strong project delivery expertise with a practical understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks. Unlike a traditional oversight-focused project management role, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute directly to the design, implementation and execution of key workstreams alongside coordinating stakeholders and driving programme delivery.

The programme will focus on regulatory remediation, control enhancement, governance improvements, and operational effectiveness across multiple business functions. Experience within asset management, investment management, private markets, alternatives, or wider buy-side financial services environments would be highly advantageous.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Operations, Legal and Executive Leadership to deliver key regulatory and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate delivery of complex regulatory, governance and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and stakeholder communications across multiple workstreams.
  • Support the execution of compliance and regulatory activities, providing practical input rather than purely programme oversight.
  • Drive regulatory remediation and control enhancement initiatives within FCA-regulated environments.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk and Operations teams to assess, implement and evidence improvements to governance frameworks and controls.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory requests, reviews, audits and supervisory activity where required.
  • Prepare project governance materials, Steering Committee updates, status reporting and management information.
  • Ensure delivery against agreed timelines while maintaining strong regulatory and operational standards.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business, compliance and operational stakeholders to resolve issues and drive progress.
  • Support the embedding of sustainable processes, controls and governance practices.
