Who Are We – Formation Tech
Formation Tech is a fast-growing technology company delivering Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Networks, and Voice solutions to ambitious mid-market businesses. We exist to make our customers' lives easier through technology, helping organisations connect, collaborate, and stay secure in a hybrid world. We're people-first: we believe technology transforms operations, but people make the real difference.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our customer and internal projects from sales handover, through delivery, to service-desk transition. You'll run scope, timeline, budget, risk and the customer relationship, working closely with our technical teams and with a high level of autonomy.
This role would suit a Project Manager or Junior Project Manager ready to take real ownership of delivery, work directly with customers, and grow with regular exposure to senior leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
