Are you a dynamic Project Manager with a passion for the Aerospace industry? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your leadership skills can shine? If so, our client is looking for you!

Join a vibrant team at the forefront of Aerospace innovation, where you will lead and coordinate exciting work transfer projects. As a Project Manager, you will ensure seamless delivery of supplier, manufacturing, and process transfer projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Summary

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months - likely to be longer term
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Pay Rate: £35.00 - £40.00 per hour
  • Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday all onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Projects: Oversee work transfer initiatives from planning through to successful implementation and closure.
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans using Microsoft Project (MS Project) to keep all teams on track.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to deliver project goals.
  • Documentation Management: Produce and maintain essential project documents, including RAID Logs, Action Trackers, and Status Reports.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to ensure readiness for production and support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements and capture lessons learned throughout project execution.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in project delivery within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or supply chain.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (MS Project) is essential!
  • Strong project planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Aerospace or advanced manufacturing background.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements and engineering change control.
  • Project management qualifications (Prince2, APM, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
