About Us
Teledyne Energetics UK have been designing and developing solutions for the safety, arming, and initiation technology sector since 1984. This includes military energetic devices from components through to complete systems. Some of the flagship product lines include active vehicle safety systems, sea mine fuzes, modular artillery fuzes, flight termination units, electronic Safe & Arm Units, and electronic Ignition Safety Devices. Originally part of the Teledyne e2v family, Teledyne Energetics also delivers a range of services to its global customer base. Design services include modelling and testing of fully packaged circuitry for control and initiation of detonators, which are carried out at our fully licensed site at Lincoln. What We Are Looking For
This is a Project Management role required within a growing team to deliver technical product development to challenging customer specifications and timescales. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate industry best practice, the effective use of project management tools, and will be able to describe a successful track record in delivering technical projects on time and in full.

As a Project Manager within Teledyne Energetics, you will act as the relationship manager between the various disciplines in the business, and the customer. You will require strong leadership skills to bring together key milestones across multiple projects at any one time, whilst overcoming technical and other resource conflicts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Be a high performing Project Manager working within time and resource constraints to deliver projects on time and to agreed budgets.
- Work directly with Customers and the Key Account Manager to maintain good effective relationships and ensure expectations and agreed outcomes are met.
- Work directly with the Engineering Manager to plan engineering and compliance resource to maximise its use effectively and to resolve conflicts and bottlenecks.
- Working with procurement/supply chain teams to ensure forward planning and order placement for material, equipment and services in accordance with delivery schedules and project plans.
- Using PM best practice, deploy highly effective project plans and challenge roadblocks to ensure success. Lateral thinking is a must!
- Help oversee the effective transfer of new products into steady state manufacturing without issue.
- Bid proposal support for onboarding new programmes / projects.
- Support accurate reporting and budget forecasting for project delivery, along with detailed revenue projections.
- Resolve project uncertainty through risk planning, by managing risk mitigation plans and effective escalations within the business.
- Champion sitewide improvements for project management and help mentor junior members within the team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated project management experience of highly technical critically dependent projects, sometimes needing to resolve ambiguous situations.
- Experienced with high profile and demanding customers (OEMs).
- Experienced with Technical proposal delivery.
- A relevant professional project management qualification with at least 5 years professional experience.
- Knowledge of EPM tools and ASC606 accounting methodology, preferably with SAP S4.
- Some familiarity with ISO9001 would be an advantage.
