Position Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our access control division as a Projects Manager. We are looking for a responsible individual who will understand the needs of our external and internal customers to deliver new dormakaba installations for our commercial access control systems across the UK.

We need someone who is technically competent with a collaborative mindset, who can work with our customers, engineers, suppliers, and internal colleagues to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget.

The role will involve the day-to-day management of these projects for the Access Control division, dealing with all the issues that this may entail. The role starts at supporting the quotation process, through to liaising with the client, creating agreements, and scheduling works, all the way to the hand-over. This can mean working on a number of different projects all running at the same time and at different stages for customers throughout the UK. This is a home-based role so you can work from anywhere in the UK as long as you are prepared to travel and cover overnight stays as required.

We need an individual who is technically competent, organized, and capable, who can manage (or learn to manage) budgets and timescales and ensure that we complete the project on time and within cost.

What You Will Do

  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of projects throughout the UK, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and to budget.
  • You will organize your own day, meeting with stakeholders, clients, and contractors either online or in person, giving regular updates and ensuring that the schedule is maintained, whilst dealing with any issues or delays in a professional and pragmatic manner.
  • You will utilize strong analytical skills to predict and foresee any problems and be able to come up with workable solutions.
  • The role may require UK travel and overnight stays as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
