How The Role Will Make An Impact

We are seeking an experienced hands-on Project Manager with a background in business and IT change to lead cross-functional projects from concept through to closure and lessons learnt. The ideal candidate will manage timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication. The role will cover a wide range of projects including IT, Operational, Commercial, etc. and will involve the management of a number of projects concurrently.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for business change, M&A, and IT projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Warehousing, Quality, IT, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Finance.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage vendor relationships where required for the successful delivery of the project.
  • Track KPIs and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensure the stakeholders are engaged with the project and kept informed noting that these may be senior leadership within the business.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are closed effectively and lessons learnt are captured.
  • Ensure projects meet the governance standards set out by the PMO.

Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or another relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven experience of project management experience in a manufacturing environment including IT and business change projects.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
  • Certified in Prince2, Prosci, and Agile is preferred.
