About the Role

At Nexperia Manchester, we are expanding our team with the addition of 3 new Project Managers – 1 permanent and 2 on 2 year fixed term contracts. If the thought of managing multiple projects for a global semiconductor manufacturer producing over 100 billion devices every year excites you, then this could be the role for you.

Are you a doer? Can you understand commercial realities, make decisions and then communicate them clearly? Are you interested in leading diverse teams and having a real impact on a global business? If so, please apply now for immediate consideration, but note this role is located in Stockport on a hybrid basis and we are not looking to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.

What our Project Managers do

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager and with a clear progression path, this role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of multi-site, Research, Study and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring that the project delivers the expected outcomes.

  • Often managing multiple projects simultaneously, you will take ownership of project delivery, defining and maintaining robust project delivery plans that include scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and associated costs, aligned to the agreed governance standards.
  • In addition to this, you will manage all changes, risks and issues to ensure delivery within the agreed boundaries of specification, quality, time and cost.
  • The Project Manager engages directly with multiple functions across Nexperia and regularly interfacing with senior management and executive level stakeholders.
  • You will provide clear, concise, and timely updates to project sponsors and key stakeholders, cutting through complexity to enable effective decision making, mitigating risk, and ensuring commitments around timelines and budgets are consistently met.

This role requires the ability to operate at pace, adapt to change, and deliver in a dynamic environment, applying agile or hybrid project delivery approaches as appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
