Project Manager
The Pitch

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic self-starter to run projects on our experts platform focused on science, technology and innovation challenges. We are looking for someone smart and detail-orientated to ensure we continue to keep all our moving parts moving.
We need someone who thrives on operational excellence and problem solving, is naturally social and who builds relationships and can make sure our community of scientists and engineers feel supported and inspired. You should thrive on thinking fast, getting your hands dirty and keeping a cool head, holding it all together for the team.
You’re a great communicator, whether it’s reporting progress on the projects you lead or briefing the research teams. You’re naturally curious and enthusiastic about science and technology.
This is a permanent role for outstanding candidates.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Play a critical role working closely with our Client Services team, supporting the delivery of client projects by managing the workflow provided by science and technology experts.
- Plan projects, including writing project briefs.
- Directly resource and manage virtual teams of many contributors.
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of projects.
- Monitor schedules and budgets.
- Implement and improve processes and workflows.

Requirements
- Graduate or Masters degree (a science or engineering subject preferred)
- 5+ years previous project management experience within a commercial setting
- Track record of planning projects (short and medium-term), meeting deadlines and managing multiple activities
- Ability to write clearly, speak articulately and think on your feet
- You effectively communicate between team members, key stakeholders and everyone else involved
