HaslerRail AG continues Bern's more than 135-year tradition in the field of railway technology. We are a leader in the development and manufacturing of electrical equipment for public transport.
The name Hasler is synonymous worldwide with Swiss quality in the railway sector and is well anchored in it. HaslerRail is looking for a dynamic and motivated Project Manager (m/f/d) for our Site in Manchester.
Main tasks:
- Managing the portfolio of projects until the delivery is completed and the project can be closed
- Supporting the customer throughout all the stages of the project and during normal operation, detecting opportunities for upselling additional functionalities for RailData usage and increase the customer satisfaction
- Management of the project and customer accounts in respect to the contractual obligations.
- Inform the rest of the organization about significant issues following the corresponding escalation processes.
- For new projects, the project manager will be responsible for:
- Detailed project schedule, project risk, opportunity and improvement management, Project Launch, Change management and contractual obligation management, budget allocation and monitoring, Project Reporting internally both status and financial performance.
- Develops project timelines, action plans and budgets with milestone dates for completion of work.
- Meets with customer to ensure project is completed according to schedule.
- Have the authority and the obligation to review the effort of the project core team members and to give directives related to the project execution.
- Be responsible for management of all communication with the Customer. Working with RailData Sales and Business Development to negotiate with the customer to determine the cost, terms, and conditions of change orders.
- Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
- Is the first point of escalation for the customer/Agents’ issues
- Takes part in problem solving activities. Assists in analyses and resolution of problems, defines and determines appropriate actions for the ongoing activities.

Requirements:

- Engineering and/ or Data Science would be advantageous
- You have experience in managing projects, preferably in the railway sector or in a technical field with high quality and normative requirements.
- 5-10 years of experience
- English proficiency, German or any other language as a bonus
