Project Manager
💼 We’re Hiring: Project Manager - Venue Projects
📍 Excel London
As Excel London continues to invest in the future of one of the world's leading event destinations, we are delivering an ambitious programme of capital, infrastructure and estate improvement projects. We're looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to help deliver this exciting portfolio of construction, refurbishment and infrastructure projects across our live operational estate.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage projects from concept through to handover, working within a fast-paced live venue environment where no two projects are the same.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of capital works and estate improvement projects
- Manage project scope, budgets, programmes, risks and stakeholder expectations
- Coordinate design development, approvals and change control processes
- Oversee procurement activities, contractor selection and contract administration
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with quality and compliance standards
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Manage project risks, conduct site inspections and drive quality assurance throughout delivery
- Lead testing, commissioning and handover activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives across the project portfolio

What You'll Bring
- Proven experience delivering construction, refurbishment or infrastructure projects within the built environment
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, procurement and contract administration
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance
- A solid understanding of building systems, MEP services and design coordination
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes

Desirable Qualifications
- Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or Project Management (HNC, HND or Degree)
- PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM or similar professional body
- Experience working within operational venues, hospitality environments or large estates
- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and building performance standards
