The role
As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering complex engineering projects across our consultancy portfolio. You’ll work across the full programme lifecycle—from initial planning and mobilisation through to delivery and close-out—ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical nuclear and defence programmes, while advancing your own career in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You’ll be trusted to lead multiple projects, influence key stakeholders, and drive measurable impact on projects that matter nationally.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and budget
- Developing, maintaining, and controlling detailed project schedules and resource plans
- Leading project governance, including preparing and presenting reports to senior stakeholders
- Overseeing project financials, including budget tracking and earned value management
- Supporting meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive performance and delivery

Essential experience of the Project Manager:
- Demonstrating experience managing project schedules, including planning and control
- Applying resource levelling and resource management techniques across projects
- Managing budgets across multiple or complex project portfolios
- Using earned value management to monitor and report on project performance
- Delivering multidisciplinary engineering or technical projects
Qualifications for the Project Manager:
- Relevant experience in project management or engineering environments
- A recognised Project Management qualification (such as APM or equivalent) or willingness to work towards certification
- Experience within a consultancy or regulated environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and project controls tools (such as Primavera P6) is desirable
