Position Description

At CGI, we deliver transformation programmes that help our clients solve complex challenges and achieve lasting business outcomes. As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the successful delivery of strategic projects, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You'll work closely with clients and colleagues across the business, shaping delivery, managing risk, and driving collaboration to achieve measurable results. Joining CGI means becoming part of a supportive community where you'll be empowered to develop your career, influence meaningful change, and make a real impact for our clients.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of one or more transformation projects, taking full ownership of project planning, governance, budgets, and delivery from initiation through to completion. Working with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams, you will ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, quality, schedule, and commercial objectives while maintaining a strong focus on business value and customer satisfaction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
