Project Manager
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 basic + Tesla Model 3 car + benefits
Location: North UK
Sector: HVAC / Engineering / Manufacturing
Join a well-established and growing HVAC engineering business delivering complex mechanical projects across the UK.
This is a high-impact role offering full project ownership, strong internal support, and the opportunity to work on technically interesting installations across commercial and industrial environments.
You will take projects from initial site survey through to final handover, working closely with Sales Engineers and clients to shape solutions, manage delivery, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
The Role
- Lead HVAC projects end-to-end, from pre-contract survey through to commissioning and client handover.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers during early engagement to influence design, scope, and commercial viability.
- Manage multiple live projects simultaneously, ensuring programme, cost, and margin targets are achieved.
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
- Oversee contract administration, project documentation, and reporting.
- Maintain strict compliance with UK Health & Safety standards across all project phases.
- Attend client and site meetings, providing clear updates and managing expectations throughout.
- Ensure successful project completion, including O&M documentation and client training.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering HVAC or building services projects in the UK.
- Strong project management capability, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Commercial awareness, including experience supporting tenders, pricing, or cost control.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, with strong planning and problem-solving ability.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification (Degree or HND).
- SMSTS or similar site management certification.
- Experience within process cooling, ventilation, or industrial HVAC systems.
