Project Manager - West London: High-End Events & Commercial Space

JLL is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Central London team, delivering operational excellence across prestigious events venues and premium commercial environments.

Key Operational Requirements

Premium Environment Delivery:

  • Execute projects in occupied high-end venues, flagship corporate headquarters, and premium commercial spaces
  • Maintain seamless operations where downtime isn't an option
  • Exercise discretion and professionalism expected in sophisticated commercial and events environments
  • Minimize disruption to live operations while delivering technical excellence

Project Management:

  • Deliver multiple small works, fit-out, and M&E projects autonomously
  • Manage complete project lifecycles from specification through closeout
  • Balance competing stakeholder demands in pressured, time-sensitive environments
  • Solve issues rapidly with minimal client impact

Contractor & Team Leadership:

  • Manage contractor performance to JLL's exacting standards
  • Lead diverse teams across varied project types
  • Provide technical guidance on M&E and fabric disciplines
  • Conduct quality audits on subcontractors
  • Implement HR procedures and performance management

Core Accountabilities

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure H&S legislation compliance including CDM regulations
  • Maintain risk assessments and method statements
  • Uphold JLL's zero-harm culture and client duty of care
  • Manage contractor safety performance in live environments

Financial Management:

  • Budget control and project costing
  • P&L responsibility contributing to portfolio profitability
  • WIP tracking and debt management
  • Monitor project costs against forecasts

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Proactive client liaison reinforcing JLL's value proposition
  • Manage expectations in high-profile commercial and events spaces

Operational Excellence:

  • Plan and develop project specifications
  • Monitor progress and set realistic end dates

  • Pipeline development to increase annual turnover
  • Identify additional service opportunities within existing client relationships

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Health & Safety Certifications:

  • IOSH or higher (mandatory)
  • SMSTS (mandatory)
  • CSCS Gold Card (preferred)

Technical Competencies:

  • Competent working knowledge of M&E systems
  • Understanding of building fabric disciplines
  • Ability to oversee complex, integrated building systems typical of premium commercial venues

Professional Experience:

  • Industry-relevant qualifications and proven track record
  • Operational experience leading diverse teams
  • Performance management to KPIs using operational MI systems
  • Experience in live operational environments (events venues, premium office space advantageous)
  • Background in small works, fit-out, and M&E project delivery

Administrative & Systems:

  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong organizational and administration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting requirements
  • Data-driven approach to performance tracking

  • Progression from technical/supervisory roles into project management
