The Role

StarRez is seeking a Project Manager to lead the installation, implementation, and training for new and existing customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end project delivery to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes
  • Facilitating customer success by acting as a trusted advisor
  • Driving training and adoption across new and expanding implementations

This role blends project management, technical support, and customer relationships, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.


Role Specifics

Work Location: Remote (UK) Travel: Estimated 40% (flexible based on business needs) Reporting: Senior Manager, Professional Services


What You Will Own

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects across EMEA, managing timelines, stakeholder communications, and delivery execution
  • Design and deliver high-quality customer training (onsite and remote), crafting clear documentation and materials for user adoption
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Support, Development, Sales) to align on customer goals, resolve issues, and contribute to product improvements
  • Support existing customers, identifying upsell opportunities for additional modules, services, or integrations
  • Conduct tailored solution demonstrations for new implementations and expansions, highlighting value and capabilities
  • Develop customer resources (help guides, FAQs, release testing feedback) and contribute to user groups/industry events
  • Work flexibly and independently, coordinating travel, managing overlapping priorities, and bridging across global time zones

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience owning and managing end-to-end customer implementations or projects in a SaaS or higher education context (e.g., Student Information Systems like Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Banner).
  • Proven ability to build rugged, trusted partnerships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive-level audiences.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, issue diagnosis, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong documentation and follow-through skills.
  • Technologically curious, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, or related discipline
  • Prior experience with StarRez or similar student housing software
  • Willingness to adopt AI tooling to streamline daily tasks
