Project Manager
Project Manager (Digital & IT) – Sizewell C
Location: Based in London (hybrid) with travel to Suffolk as required Contract: Permanent, full-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + comprehensive benefits

Sizewell C’s purpose is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C, Suffolk. During construction, the company’s focus is unequivocally on delivering the project on time, on budget, to world-class quality and safety standards.

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the delivery of digital and IT systems that underpin the design, construction, and long-term operation of Sizewell C.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional digital projects, including:
- Enterprise IT systems
- Engineering tools and construction technologies
- Data platforms
- Collaboration tools
- Work with architects and innovation teams to ensure IT and digital solutions are scalable, reliable and future-ready.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with overall business and project goals.
- Oversee resource allocation, budgets and timelines while addressing complex dependencies (including relationships with EDF for approved services and supply chain).
- Gain insights from Hinkley Point C’s commercial delivery lessons to facilitate continuous improvement at Sizewell C.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, operations, and IT teams to sustain high standards of performance and excellence.
About You
Success in this role requires a proven track record in digital & IT projects within major organisations, preferably in infrastructure, energy, regulated environments or construction. Ideally, you’ll have:

- 8+ years in project management, with expertise in IT/digital transformation or industrial construction sectors.
- Formal qualification and practical experience in project management methods, such as:
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications, or
- AQF Recognised competencies (APM or equivalent).
- Scoped experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise systems or SaaS/platforms in complex, regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate high-stakes scenarios, balancing tight constraints with innovative solutions.
- Leadership of cross-functional and geographically dispersed project teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, balancing the needs of business, commercial, and technical teams.
- Robust ASAP (Agile/Scrum) familiarisation and open to hybrid methodologies as the project progresses.
- Capacity to drive strategic insights from historical projects (e.g., Hinkley Point C) and apply them pragmatically.
- Most exceptional candidates will have a technical background (software development, cybersecurity, engineering, or IT) and an ability to challenge solutions with operational rigor.

Recruitment Footnote
