Role: Project Manager
Location: Glasgow, UK
3 days/week onsite is required.
6 Months FTC
Job Description
Project Delivery
Strong experience managing small to medium IT development projects with tight timelines and clear milestone delivery.
Java Project Exposure
Good understanding of Java application development lifecycle, Spring Boot / microservices concepts, APIs, testing, and release coordination.

Agile Delivery
Experience working in Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile delivery models, including sprint planning, backlog tracking, and delivery ceremonies.
Governance & Reporting
Ability to prepare project status reports, RAID logs, action trackers, steering updates, and client-facing progress summaries.
Stakeholder Management
Ability to manage client stakeholders, delivery teams, technical leads, testers, architects, and internal leadership communication.

Risk & Dependency Control
Strong ability to identify risks early, manage dependencies, escalate blockers, and ensure timely resolution.
Quality & Release Readiness
Experience coordinating test cycles, defect triage, acceptance criteria, release notes, deployment readiness, and handover support.
Tools
Working knowledge of Jira, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Confluence or equivalent tools.
