IT Project Manager Glasgow / Hybrid – 3 days a week on site Competitive Salary & Benefits

We now have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced project managers to join our team in Glasgow. These roles involve overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including assessing solutions, delivering the solution, engaging with stakeholders (including senior stakeholders), managing the budget, and collaborating with external vendors and internal technical teams. We are looking for someone with experience of delivering a privileged access management solution or competent understanding of delivery within an OT or Secure environment.
What will you be doing?
Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Define project scope, goals, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Establish a detailed roadmap for project execution, including key milestones and dependencies. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, proactively addressing issues as they arise. Create and maintain project schedules, tracking progress against key milestones. Ensure transparent and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.

Who are we looking for? Proven project management experience, with a track record in managing complex projects involving multiple business units. Experience within utilities, preferably telecoms. Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications. Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) are also desirable. Strong understanding of both off-the-shelf solutions and custom software development. Ability to assess technical feasibility and scalability. Experience in managing relationships with external vendors and software factories. Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt the approach based on project requirements. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Clarity) and other relevant tools.
