Job Description

6 Month Fixed Term Contract (Highly likely to go permanent) | Hybrid Working | Manchester City Centre

ALF Recruit is delighted to be partnering with an award-winning financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business during a period of investment and transformation, taking ownership of key business and technology projects that will support the organisation’s continued growth.

This isn’t a hands-on technical IT role. Instead, you’ll be responsible for coordinating projects across the business, bringing together internal subject matter experts, technical teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure successful delivery.

We’re looking for someone who is confident managing stakeholders, keeping multiple workstreams on track, and communicating progress clearly to senior leaders. You’ll be IT literate, able to quickly understand business systems and technology projects, and confident working with technical teams to drive projects through to successful delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
