The Role
You will work on client campaigns with a joyful range of services: from small scale money can’t buy experiences to global, game-changing, strategy projects. Your role will drive SALT’s value in each project. Working with strategists, creatives and activation producers, you will manage strategy, activations and creative assignments with a compelling and market-leading approach.
As Project Manager, you will be at the centre of working teams responsible for projects from brief to delivery and client follow up. You will manage creative, strategic and activation resource across various scale projects to ensure they are delivering to brief as well as SALT/client standards. You will feed into the Senior Project Manager to communicate project specific resource, efficiency, budget performance and flag any concerns or bottlenecks.
Job Specification
Overall Project Management
- Proactively lead the planning, communication, organisation, leadership and delivery of the projects assigned to you.
- Confidently produce detailed project scopes, monitor and track scope creep and drive status updates.
- Informed and involved in forward planning; inclusive of key moments and predicted asks that will require peaks in service. This may require upfront scoping and timeline planning to ensure budgets are secured and resources are planned for specific projects.
- Engage and respond to clients in a timely manner, monitor, track and report.
- A strong understanding of finance/budget management, with the ability to report and track across multiple projects.
- Negotiate, manage and maintain excellent professional relationships with existing and new suppliers, whilst bringing best in class suppliers to the table per project as needed.
- Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and think you on your feet.
- Set up post project review meetings and gather feedback for internal and external measurement of KPIs.
- Contributes ideas to improve project output.
- Ensure SALT and Client standards are consistently delivered on each project.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of collaboration, creativity and joy on each project!

Budget and Resource Management
- Manage estimates and timings for assigned projects including production within the SOW document and create detailed estimates and timings to gain internal approvals.
- Flag internal investment/budget burn as appropriate to avoid overages.
- Share monthly project budgets and status updates with the Senior Project Manager, proactively finding solutions to budget burn and workflow bottlenecks.
- Support of Senior Project Manager in estimates, raising purchase orders and invoice approvals for third party costs for Project Lead approval before released to third party.
- Pre-emptively create timing plans and fee estimates to input on Scoro (Our PM Software), manage and monitor project team updates.
- Drive status updates to inform overall project position for live activations and strategies.
- Prepare production briefs for third party contractors.
- Ensure all specs, assets, signed off copy, signed off design, guidelines any other creative and digital files are available in advance of briefing design, studio or production.
- Support the Senior Project Manager in ensuring all documentation like NDAs and contracts are in place for new projects.
- Plan and manage team resource throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promote and ensure effective teamwork.
- Ensure the right people are involved at each milestone of the project.
- Ensure all work is proof-read before being presented to client.

Requirements
- A minimum of 2+ years Project Management experience.
- Strong appetite for learning and highly motivated!
- Takes ownership of the momentum of a project - not just executing what's asked of you, going above and beyond to achieve the goals.
- A team player: you see your work as part of the team’s overall plan, and within that you’re happy driving your own parts of the project and supporting team members with theirs.
- Experience of brand campaigns, strategy, and activations.
- Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate.
- Excellent attention to detail - you value getting things right.
- Experience working on client account management.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle a wide range of competing demands and delivering to deadlines.
- An ability to think strategically and outside of the box.
- Confident public speaker, comfortable communicating with key decision makers and clients.
- Demonstrate ability to adopt new working practices, creating solutions to improve systems and procedures.
- Intermediate understanding of culinary terms and cooking methods.
- Experienced and confident in liaising with clients and manage expectations.
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to control and report on costs and budgets.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and story - you know what looks good and how to turn corporate messaging into something engaging.
