Project Manager (12-Month Fixed Term Contract, Full Time)

We're looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join the PSTN switch-off (OneNetwork) initiative, a major KCOM transformation delivering the migration of customers from the legacy copper telephone network to modern Full Fibre Voice services.

You'll play a key role in delivering projects that support the successful execution of this strategic initiative, helping to ensure a safe and reliable migration for customers while minimising disruption and operational risk.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, customers and third-party partners, you'll lead multiple medium to high-complexity projects from initiation through to successful delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Salary

  • Up to £50K, depending on Experience

Location

  • Hull, Carr Lane, 2 days office based minimum

Advert Closing Date

  • 30th July 2026

We may close the advert early if we receive strong interest, so don't wait!

Interview Dates - To be confirmed after advert closing date

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of migration projects within the OneNetwork initiative, ensuring customer migration journeys are delivered safely, on schedule and in line with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate delivery across Engineering, Technology, Customer Operations, Product, Commercial and other business teams to ensure migration readiness and successful execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, managing milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and change to keep delivery on track.
  • Monitor progress against agreed migration plans and targets, proactively identifying risks, removing blockers and driving recovery actions where required.
  • Chair cross-functional project meetings, ensuring actions are owned and stakeholders remain aligned throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Provide clear governance, reporting and progress updates to the OneNetwork Steering Committee and Leadership Team.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, customers to coordinate successful migration delivery.
  • Depending on your assigned project, you will either lead the delivery of high-volume consumer migration projects focused on safe and efficient execution, or manage complex enterprise customer migrations, developing tailored migration plans and coordinating delivery directly with business customers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve migration processes, governance and ways of working, supporting the continuous evolution of the OneNetwork initiative.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
