Project Manager - 12 months - Outside IR35 - 1 day per fortnight in the office - £635 per day
We’re supporting a global industrial technology business on a major transformation programme and are looking for an End User Computing Project Manager to lead a complex global user migration workstream. The business designs and delivers specialist detection, screening and security technologies used in critical environments including aviation, ports, defence and public infrastructure.
This role will focus on planning and coordinating the migration of c.4,000 users globally, including laptops, mailboxes, SharePoint and application access across multiple sites. The successful contractor will work closely with application and data migration leads, alongside a major SI partner, to define the right migration approach and drive delivery.

What the Project Manager will be doing
- Leading a global end user migration workstream across multiple geographies
- Building the approach for migrating users, devices and collaboration tooling
- Coordinating cutover planning across sites, personas and user groups
- Working with application and data migration teams to align dependencies
- Managing delivery with internal stakeholders and an external SI partner
- Bringing structure to a fast-moving programme and driving decisions independently

What we’re looking for from the Project Manager
- Proven experience delivering global end user migration programmes
- Strong project management background across device, user and workplace migrations
- Experience in large-scale Windows rollouts, M365 / cloud migrations, or similar end user transformation programmes
- Able to operate independently and shape the delivery approach rather than just track actions
- Carve-out / separation experience is helpful, but not essential
