Project Manager
About The Job
Lead the projects that turn advanced hardware designs into products ready for manufacturing.
As a Project Manager, you will drive hardware manufacturing projects from planning through production release. You will help teams deliver complex programmes with clarity and confidence.
Your work will keep engineering, operations and manufacturing partners aligned. You will manage priorities, track progress and remove delivery risks before they become blockers.
You will work across hardware, software, systems and operations teams. If you enjoy solving complex delivery challenges and making technical programmes successful, this role offers real impact.
The team and culture
You will join the Manufacturing Technology team within Manufacturing Operations. The team works across Bristol, Cambridge, India, Taiwan and the US to develop and maintain manufacturing processes.
Day to day, you will work closely with engineers, development managers, programme managers and external manufacturing partners. Success comes from clear communication, strong planning and shared ownership of delivery.
The team values practical problem solving and informed decision making. People are trusted to take responsibility and keep projects moving.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
