Project Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of turnkey HV substation projects for one of our key customers. You will work within one of the delivery teams and guide a project team while collaborating with the Technical Lead Engineers, Procurement teams, and Installation & Commissioning teams on all aspects of project delivery.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Lead the delivery of turnkey HV substation projects for key customers, managing collaboration with project teams, including Technical Lead Engineers, Procurement, and Installation & Commissioning teams.
  • Ensure the delivery of technical, procurement, and quality information while maintaining Health and Safety Standards and adhering to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g., tax regulations, export control, EHS).
  • Identify and raise potential risks, variations, and opportunities within the business, taking full responsibility for the project program and costs.
  • Prepare Monthly Progress Reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in customer-facing discussions on technical queries and project reporting.
  • Support future project opportunities with the “Capture Team” approach.

What You Bring

  • Project Management and Contract Management experience in the Transmission & Distribution industry, with a strong understanding of relevant standards and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Substation Primary and Secondary Systems, along with current Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management processes and essential contractual management knowledge, particularly with NEC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Proactive approach to project challenges and team collaboration.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development in the field.
