Based at our offices in Haslingden, Lancashire, with international travel required, we are looking for a: Project Manager
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will play a key role in developing robust execution strategies for major upcoming initiatives. You will lead the creation of end-to-end delivery approaches - shaping plans, aligning stakeholders, and defining operational readiness to support strategic bids and future programmes of work.

As projects are secured, you will transition into leading full delivery, driving planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution. You will also integrate into the wider project delivery team, contributing to other projects and supporting the continued growth of our strategic portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a major capital project from concept through to operational handover.
- Develop a full operational solution for the project, including workflows, resource models, and implementation strategies.
- Engage with internal teams, external partners, and international stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Travel overseas to sister sites, suppliers, and operational teams to validate requirements and shape the delivery plan.
- Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain transparent reporting to the Head of Projects.
- Establish project costs, track progress against milestones, and ensure delivery within agreed parameters.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution.

To enable you to carry out this role you will need to have:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale engineering or production-focused projects.
- Background in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, industrial processes, or engineered systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder groups, including international partners.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider project delivery function.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
