Velociti Solutions provides innovative digital transformation solutions and specialist consultancy in operational efficiency, safety and customer service excellence. With deep sector knowledge gained over 30 years, we are trusted by transport authorities, bus operators and rail operators worldwide.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various software development and implementation projects.
You will be methodical and have excellent time management skills, and you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams. You should be able to manage and deliver our projects within quality, time, and budget requirements.
This is a full-time role, our core working hours are 9.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday but we offer a degree of flexibility around start and finish times. The role is hybrid with 2 days from our offices in either Bromsgrove, Sheffield or Oldham.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and manage the implementation of our software solutions, acting as a point of contact for projects. Follow our project management methodology to ensure that projects remain on track, issues are resolved, budgets are managed, and reporting is accurate. Seek opportunities for improving our project delivery processes. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Take a flexible approach to requests to perform tasks as directed. Development of detailed project plans using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Define resource requirements, ensuring resource availability, budget, lead-times. Keep an up-to-date risk and issue log. Ensure all risks and issues are effectively mitigated and communicated to the client and relevant internal teams. Communicate with internal and external teams to delegate tasks and address client queries in a timely manner. Provide clients, management and other stakeholders with regular project progress reports and ensure milestones are delivered to the agreed schedule. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Report and escalate to management as needed. Ensure client sign off-of all milestone stages and final hand over.

Requirements
Meet with internal stakeholders and clients to identify project requirements and delivery timelines. Manage a resource pool of developers, designers and testers to ensure software deliverables are met. Have experience working in waterfall and agile methodologies. Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and the ability to revise them based on changing needs and requirements. Identify and assign project resources based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of staff members. Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery. Produce and submit project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders. Work effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation. Develop excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders. Manage stakeholder relationships in a challenging environment. Ability to be flexible and adapt plans and priorities.
