We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team at Vistry South East Midlands, based at our Newport Pagnell site in Buckinghamshire.
As the Project Manager, you will:
- Plan, coordinate and oversee construction projects from conception to completion
- Manage budgets, timelines, resources and various teams
- Liaise with partners, customers, contractors and stakeholders
- Address risks, issues and ensure compliance with all regulations

About the Role & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure health, safety and welfare of all project stakeholders in line with Vistry’s safety policy
- Foster continuous safety improvements across projects
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and coach team members, driving excellence and growth
- Engage with customers, contractors and stakeholders, maintaining positive relationships
- Oversee resource planning and supply chain coordination
- Lead meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring effective decision-making
- Mitigate risks and identify additional work, securing clear financial agreements
- Monitor and adjust project programmes for timely completion
- Ensure internal processes and quality standards are consistently adhered to
Key Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience in new build multi-story or housing projects
- Health and safety management skills and certifications
- Strong ability to analyse technical and commercial aspects—cost, time, quality and resource-considerations
- First Aid at Work Certificate (valid)
- NVQ Level 6–7 BTEC Diploma in Building Construction or equivalent
- Valid SMSTS Certificate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Project and Asta Plans
- Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety legislation and building regulations
- Understanding of Considerate Contractor requirements, with a focus on achieving high scores
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate teams
- Experience in fostering respectful collaboration for a positive workplace culture
- A reputation for maturity, integrity and sound decision-making
