The Role
As a Project Manager in our UK Defence function you will be part of the Land & Weapons team where you will lead the delivery of one or more standard or complex projects.
Day to day, you will hold responsibility for the full project management lifecycle from planning through to execution on a variety of projects with a broad scope over project planning, budget updates, customer and supplier meetings, risk and issue management and cost forecasting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers
- Delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline
- Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work
- Ensuring correct entry of data onto SAP CRM relating to your opportunities, and maintain this data to reflect any changes in key inputs including Order Value, Order Intake Scenario, (Low, Base, High, Excluded), Bid Due date, Closing Date, Sales Stage, Margin, Revenue Profile and up to date notes

Essential experience of the Project Manager:
- Experience gained, typically rather than necessarily, between 2-4 years of leading a business, projects, programmes, portfolios or P3 function and successfully delivering projects
- Experience delivering projects to 3 different customers
Essential qualifications for the Project Manager:
- Industry recognised qualification such as Prince2, AMP, PMP

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
