Role Description

The Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cullompton. The Project Manager will oversee civil engineering projects from planning through completion, ensuring that scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met. Daily responsibilities include coordinating project resources, managing subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring progress and inspections, and resolving issues that affect timelines or performance. The role involves preparing and updating project plans, reporting on milestones and risks, and maintaining clear communication with clients, site teams, and senior management. The Project Manager will also ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and relevant regulations while supporting continuous improvement in project delivery.

  • Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management experience in civil engineering or construction environments.
  • Candidates should possess inspection-focused skills, including conducting or overseeing Inspection activities to verify quality and compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including Logistics Management capabilities to coordinate materials, equipment, and site deliveries efficiently.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field are beneficial.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with site teams and stakeholders are required.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, and familiarity with construction contracts and documentation are advantageous.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with project management and office software are expected.
