Project Manager

Project Manager – HV Grid Infrastructure

Office Based Role in West Midlands

About the Company

Our client is a leading independent power and grid infrastructure business, delivering critical energy projects across the UK. Since its establishment, they have built a strong reputation for developing, owning, and operating grid stability assets and small-scale generation.

With a growing pipeline of high-value projects, the business plays a crucial role in supporting the UK’s transition to a more resilient and stable power network.

Operating with a lean, highly experienced team, they offer a dynamic, hands-on environment where individuals can take real ownership and directly influence project success. With continued investment and expansion plans, this is an opportunity to join at a pivotal stage of growth.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major HV electrical infrastructure projects, including grid stability and substation-related works.

The first project for this role will involve working on a 400Mvar, 300kV project in the North of England.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
