Noriker Power is a leading renewable energy integrator and developer specialising in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects that support the UK and Ireland’s power grid. About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, site-focused Project Manager who has a background in the construction and commissioning of grid-scale energy projects. In this role, you will be a critical contributor on-site, delivering major BESS projects of up to 350MW. You will bring a wealth of experience of delivering critical energy infrastructure projects ensuring the project programme adheres to key milestones.

Key Responsibilities
- On-site project management of grid-scale BESS engineering projects, managing on-site coordination of main contractors.
- Oversee the construction and commissioning phase of transmission connected BESS projects.
- Collaboration with internal project engineers, project managers and external consultants to ensure project success.
- Engage and manage a range of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and conduct hand over processes from commissioning to operations.
- Coordinate on-site interfaces between contractors and ensure all risks are appropriately captured and mitigation measures are implemented.
- Monitor technical and logistical components, incorporating feedback into future designs and processes.
- Communication of lessons learned and identification of continuous improvement.
- Support business development to expand project opportunities.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in delivering large scale energy infrastructure projects.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering, ideally electrical or civil.
- Relevant site safety and management qualifications.
- Ability to manage project timescales and financials accurately and create accurate reporting throughout the lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Positive, self motivated and accountable problem solver.
- Familiar with UK regulations, HSE standards and compliance frameworks.
- Scotland based, willing to travel to sites between Aberdeen and Kilmarnock, on-site 80% of the time. Any time not based on site will be home-based.
