Project Manager – Defence / Automotive
Location: Leamington Spa
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Fully onsite
Recruitable Staffing are proud to be recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a specialist business based in Leamington Spa.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and delivery-focused Project Manager with experience managing complex projects within the defence and/or automotive sectors.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for project delivery, financial performance, scheduling and stakeholder communication, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from initial planning through to delivery
- Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and budgets
- Monitoring project costs, forecasts and overall financial performance
- Identifying risks, delays and commercial issues
- Coordinating internal departments, suppliers and external stakeholders
- Tracking milestones and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Producing regular project updates and performance reports
- Managing changes to project scope, cost and timescales
- Supporting customer meetings and project reviews
- Ensuring projects meet quality, contractual and compliance requirements

Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager
- Previous experience managing defence and/or automotive projects
- Strong track record of managing project finances, budgets and schedules
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, technical environment
- Comfortable working fully onsite in Leamington Spa

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience delivering projects for the Ministry of Defence
- Knowledge of MoD processes, standards or contractual requirements
- Experience working within engineering, manufacturing or technical project environments
Salary
The salary range is £55,000–£65,000 per year, depending on experience.
