Company Overview

TISICS is a small management-owned business with material and processing technology that is of potential future benefit primarily to the Space and Aerospace sectors. The company designs and manufactures net shape metal and continuous silicon carbide fibre reinforced composite components compromising titanium and aluminium alloys. Our advanced materials offer significant advantages both to the Aerospace sector in reducing the weight of platforms for environmental benefit and to the Space sector with rapid growth in communications, climate and planetary exploration applications. In order to address these exciting market developments and increased customer interest in our technology, we are growing and are looking for motivated and inspiring people to join the team.

Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering advanced technology programmes in an engineering, production and development environment. This includes managing the project timeline, budget, resources, engineering and workshop teams as well as external suppliers, to ensure that the project meets its goals, adheres to quality standards, and stays within scope. The PM will need strong customer relationship skills and a good understanding of the Aerospace sector, as the role will include working with new customers within that market.

Due to the nature of the work at TISICS, it is key that the Project Manager also has some relevant technical understanding of materials, structural components and production.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Customer relationship management: Develop a strong, positive working relationship with the customer, acting as the primary point of contact with the project teams. Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and any changes to the project.
  • Supplier management: The Project Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the key external suppliers to the project, to ensure their deliveries meet our requirements for technical, quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Internal Stakeholder Communication: Ensure that internal stakeholders, including senior management, are informed and consulted as necessary to ensure that the business can proactively respond to project issues, risks and opportunities.
  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timeline, resources, and budget. Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope. This will require a good understanding of the engineering and production challenges within the project.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of design, fabrication, workshop and quality engineers, delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members. Ensure team collaboration and resolve conflicts if necessary.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and control project expenses and resources to ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Resolve issues and handle changes that affect the scope or timeline.
  • Quality Assurance: Working with the Quality team, ensure that the project meets quality standards and that deliverables are completed according to agreed-upon specifications.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports for senior management, detailing project progress, budget adherence, and any challenges. Maintain comprehensive project documentation for record-keeping and future reference in line with TISICS governance and processes.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to analyse the success of the project, document lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
  • Support the Business Development team: In developing future programme phases and follow-on contracts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
