Job Description

If you’re looking to take an exciting new direction with your HSBC career, an internal move can open the door to many opportunities, allowing you to take on a new challenge, and develop your skills. Bring your knowledge of our brand to a new role and grow yourself further.

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Project Manager

In this fantastic role, you’ll help build the shared AI ‘paved road’ that teams across regions and businesses will rely on, working with senior stakeholders, Engineering, AI/ML, and governance to turn AI capabilities into repeatable, controlled, enterprise-grade services.

It’s high visibility, cross-boundary work with real impact and a strong career runway into platform leadership and strategic delivery.

A move across the business allows you to continue to access tailored professional development opportunities, and our fantastic benefits packages.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI platform initiatives (from intake → scope → build → launch)
  • Own delivery planning: scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and roadmap alignment
  • Run execution control, track progress, manage RAID (risks/issues/actions/dependencies), unblock and escalate when needed.
  • Translate ambiguity into requirements: user stories/functional specs with agreed acceptance criteria and cross-team sign-off
  • Operate Agile cadence: PI planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog prioritisation support, reporting, and continuous process improvement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
