Project Managers / Senior Project Managers
Transport & Infrastructure
Water Sector
Reading / London & South East | Hybrid Working
Small enough to care, big enough to deliver
At CPC Project Services, we’re an award-winning, independent Project Management and Cost Consultancy delivering some of the UK’s most complex infrastructure and transformational change programmes.
As an employee-owned business, our people sit at the heart of everything we do. We’re building a culture centred around ownership, collaboration, progression, and long-term career development - giving individuals the opportunity to genuinely shape both the projects they deliver and the future of CPC.
With strong growth across our Infrastructure division, we’re looking for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to help deliver one of the UK’s most ambitious long-term water infrastructure investment programmes.
The Opportunity
The UK water sector is entering a once-in-a-generation investment cycle, creating one of the most significant infrastructure delivery environments in the country.
This is long-term, secured work at national scale, with high technical complexity and exposure to critical programmes where performance, governance, and delivery certainty are essential. You’ll gain experience on some of the UK’s most important infrastructure projects, with clear opportunities for development and progression.
CPC is part of a transformation widely recognised as the biggest period of investment in the sector since privatisation.
This programme spans multi-billion-pound capital spend across asset renewal, network reinforcement, major reservoirs, and sustainability-led upgrades.
You will join a growing infrastructure team of circa 30 professionals (from early careers through to senior leadership) focused on water sector delivery. This creates a highly collaborative environment with strong exposure to complex programmes, senior stakeholders, and long-term investment planning.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
