Our client is a well-established project management and engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. Due to continued growth within their aviation division, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support a diverse portfolio of capital works at Glasgow Airport.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects within a live operational airport environment, helping to shape and improve key assets that support the movement of millions of passengers each year.
Your New Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of aviation and infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with airport stakeholders, contractors, designers, and operational teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Projects will typically range in value from £50,000 to £15 million and may include:
- Runway and taxiway resurfacing projects
- Airfield infrastructure upgrades
- Terminal refurbishment and fit-out schemes
- Air handling and mechanical services improvements
- Utilities, drainage, and civil engineering works
- Asset replacement programmes
- Passenger experience and operational enhancement projects

This role offers exposure to a broad range of technically challenging schemes, requiring strong stakeholder management and an ability to deliver projects within a highly regulated operational environment.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing construction, infrastructure, building services, or civil engineering projects
- Strong project management skills across the full project lifecycle
- Experience delivering projects from £50k to multi-million-pound values
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and project governance processes
- Experience within aviation, transportation, infrastructure, utilities, or other operationally critical environments would be advantageous
- A relevant degree or qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Chartered status or progression towards chartership would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
