Job Title: Project Manager - Business Intake (Consultant / Senior Consultant)
Location: London
3 days per week
Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract (potential to extend)
Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 plus benefits (dependent on experience)
Start: ASAP

Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Legal Services experience to lead a critical transformation programme within a leading law firm.
This role will focus on the modernisation of Business Intake / Acceptance processes, including onboarding new matters and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as conflict checks, AML, sanctions screening, and client due diligence.
This project will involve migration to a cloud-based legal application (e.g. Intapp or similar), alongside process re-engineering to improve control, efficiency, and compliance.
This is a highly sensitive programme, requiring strong stakeholder engagement across legal, risk, compliance, and IT functions
What you’ll do:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a Business Intake /Acceptance transformation project within a legal environment
- Manage the migration of legal applications from on-premise to Cloud-based platforms (e.g. Intapp or similar)
- Analyse and redesign processes relating to Conflict of Interest checks, Sanctions Screening, AML and KYC verification and Client onboarding and matter opening
- Identify and mitigate compliance and audit risks, improving governance and control frameworks
- Work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to capture requirements and ensure successful adoption
- Oversee system implementation, testing, data migration, and go-live activities
- Ensure robust project governance, including RAID logs, reporting, and stakeholder communications
- Manage third-party vendors and technology partners where relevant
- Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across senior stakeholders in a complex environment
- Support change management and user adoption for new systems and processes

The successful Project Manager will be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Legal, Professional or Financial Services sector
- Strong experience delivering legal technology or application projects (e.g. Intapp, Elite, iManage, or similar)
- Demonstrable experience in cloud migration programmes (ideally from legacy/on-prem systems)
- Knowledge of Business Acceptance, Risk & Compliance processes within law firms including Conflicts, AML/KYC, client onboarding
- Experience re-engineering operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior legal and business stakeholders
- Experience working in highly regulated, audit-sensitive environments
- Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to navigate complexity
Desirable:
- Experience delivering Intapp implementations or similar legal risk platforms
- Background in Legal Operations, Risk, or Compliance transformation
- Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory considerations in legal environments
